| Why should my school invest in
SCORE? |
SCORE schools receive commendations on their accreditation reports.
SCORE is successful with students from Title I, Title VII, Migrant, and language minority
backgrounds.
- SCORE received national
validation because:
- high-risk students successfully complete college prep courses.
- students test out of limited English proficient programs.
- students enroll in college at rates higher than their peers.
- schools decrease remedial course offerings and increase college prep courses.
- schools increase graduate rates.
- SCORE schools support
students through a creative combination of:
- learning powerful study skills.
- participating in tutorials.
- placement in a SCORE class.
- setting personal goals aligned with their individual values.
- timely academic and career counseling.
- utilizing appropriate support networks.
