Go To the New Workshops Page! SCORE Workshops Bringing Success to All Students Crisis, Grief, and Loss... and How to Help Your Students Through It All Workshops are held in Orange County, near John Wayne Airport. | What will I gain by attending this Workshop? | At any given time, between 30% and 100% of our students are somewhere in the grief process. This translates into the classroom because those in grief periodically become "unable" learners. When this happens, the wise teacher knows how to reach them...by a combination of "participatory" and "directive" instructional practices, by incorporating their loss into their coursework without violating them in the process, and by appropriately listening and/or referring. SCORE is pleased to pilot its first "Crisis, Grief, and Loss...and How to Help Your Students Through It" seminar, dealing with this difficult subject from the perspective of the classroom teacher and site counselor. This workshop was field tested and well received last year. | Where is this workshop held? | All Workshops are held in Orange County, near John Wayne Airport. More information to come...
