"Don't
try to understand what happened; humanly, that's impossible. Don't blame yourselves
or each other for what has happened -- there is no blame for handicap.... Above
all, don't blame God!"
Strengthened by these words of wisdom from Uncle Bob, she and Jerry began a journey through suffering with their hydrocephalic infant. Justin's story cannot be read with dry eyes, but it is not sad. "Justin is a fighter," his doctors said, and he did fight for survival, touching lives all along the way.
Perhaps it is the growing awareness of the reader that God really can give coping
strength in such an agonizing struggle that makes this book difficult to lay down. Sharon
Marshall concludes by saying, "It is my deepest prayer that you ... will find
strength through Justin's story to trust God through the trials of your own life."
Her candid testimony shows you how it is done!
